Bridget is a veteran special education leader with extensive experience in leading school and district level initiatives with focus on improving outcomes for students with disabilities. As an Advisor at SPED Strategies, Bridget supports special education leaders and other partners with the day to day execution of special education systems change. 

Before joining the SPED Strategies team, Bridget worked in both St. Martin and Lafayette Parish School Districts as a Special Education Supervisor and High School Special Education Academic Supervisor overseeing inclusive education and implementation of the April Dunn Act. In these roles she worked to integrate innovative systems that focus on improving access and outcomes, with a goal of providing students with disabilities with meaningful educational experiences. 

Bridget began her career as a special education teacher and early interventionist.  She also served as an assistant principal, as a PBIS state trainer, a district RTI coordinator, a 504/SBLC and ESL supervisor, a Title-One School Improvement supervisor, and supervised pupil appraisal and related services.
