Erin is a passionate educator who has dedicated her career to working with school leaders and teachers to create systems that support every learner's ability to meet their full potential. As an Effectiveness Coach for SPED Strategies, Erin supports the implementation and execution of school-level inclusive education, with classrooms designed for every learner.
Prior to partnering with SPED Strategies, Erin served as the Director of Academic Support of the regional offices for the Tennessee Department of Education. There, she led the team of special education and intervention consultants that work closely with school district leaders to create systemic change aimed at improving outcomes for students with disabilities. This included supporting districts in understanding and responding to their special education data, improving access to general education for students with disabilities, and creating effective intervention systems. Erin also spent several years at the department serving as an intervention specialist, providing support and professional learning to educators in access to general education and MTSS.
Erin began her career as a special education teacher; she holds certifications in general education, special education, and education administration.
