Prior to partnering with SPED Strategies, Alissa worked as a classroom teacher, NIET master teacher, school system coordinator, and at the Louisiana Department of Education where she focused on identifying and addressing the unique needs of students, enabling them to thrive both academically and personally. Alissa lives in Zachary, LA and enjoys watching LSU sports, reading, exploring new places (especially restaurants) while traveling and spending time with her family.
